Early on Friday morning I handed in my latest project. It was a making project in which we had to complete at least six products to show how our samples, in my case embroidery, could be used on small products. My collection of products includes a cushion which features large embroidered jewels along with two embroidered zip bags. I also made a scarf which uses one of the drawings which was drawn as a plan for one of my embroidered jewel samples to create a print. To finish the project I made a small selection of jewellery, including necklaces and brooches. The jewels were laser cut from wood then coloured and joined together, I used chain and silk cord to finish the necklaces. Now I have three weeks off for Easter so I have many projects planned including a pencil skirt and finishing the scarf I have on my needles, lets hope I have time for it all!
