A while ago I saw a pair of earrings in Anthropologie and thought I could make those. As any maker will know quite often you don't actually get around to making it. But this time I did and although they ended up being almost double the price of the Anthropologie pair it was worth it. I bought the materials from Kernowcraft, an absolutely amazing bead website which I am in love with. I have a long list of beads I want to get from them. I chose Lapis Lazuli half drilled beads which are a beautiful deep blue colour and include small gold coloured flecks. All of the gold components are 9ct gold. The chain is incredibly fine, so much so that it was very fiddly and a bit scary when making the earrings. When the earrings are worn the longer length of chain sits behind the ear and the shorter length in front.
